We offer more live online Primavera P6 training programs every month than any other company to give you immediate access to Primavera training. Our very intensive programs will give you the tools necessary to create a baseline schedule in Primavera P6, update the schedule, import and export data, and publish the results. The original live online trainer: our parent company, Construction Science, created the first virtual Primavera training program. No other firm understands better how to deliver live online training. Our instructors are professional trainers with a minimum of 25 years' project management experience.
Absolutely live: all of our online P6 training programs are conducted live by an instructor. You will always be able to stop the instructor and ask questions. You will need a headset with a microphone for your computer, or you will be required to use a landline for the audio portion. We can even address questions not normally covered by the curriculum. Course overviews can be accessed via the table at the bottom of this page.
Full-time instructors: we are the only Primavera training firm that never outsources any of its training. Other training firms rely upon outside help to teach some (if not all) of their classes. Our instructors are full-time employees that are available during normal business hours (Pacific Standard Time) to answer all of your questions. This not a hobby or part-time job for us!
Primavera software NOT required: we utilize GoToMeeting and GoToTraining software, which allows our instructors to share control of the program with our students. You do need to be able to download and install GoToMeeting or GoToTraining to your desktop, and have Java installed on your computer to join these online sessions. You will be controlling the keyboard and mouse while we guide you through the program.
Small classes: our classes are intentionally kept small in order to foster more interaction between the instructor and students. Online classes are limited to four (4) students. Small classes give everyone a chance to ask questions and perform exercises. We are the only training firm that limits class sizes. Private group training can be arranged by contacting lead instructor Bill Pepoon.
Minimum Internet Connectivity: you must have at a minimum, a DSL connection with a minimum bandwidth of 700Kbps. This is typically not a problem. If using your computer for the audio, a headset is required; or, you may call in using a land line.
Best for: people with strong computing skills who are familiar with Windows-based software and who can follow and work with an online instructor. If you typically have difficulty navigating websites and online services, you may find our in-person training to be a better option.
Meet the lead instructor: all of our training programs are designed by Bill Pepoon, a master scheduler and Certified Primavera P6 Implementation Specialist with 40 years' scheduling experience. He is one of the leading experts on CPM scheduling in the United States and has testified extensively on construction delays. All our Primavera P6 classes are taught by instructors with extensive training experience who use the software on a daily basis.
Custom classes available: all of our live online programs are available as private sessions. These private sessions can also be customized to cover any subject matters you choose. This is an excellent opportunity to be personally mentored by a highly experienced scheduler and certified Primavera trainer. Cancellation Policy: For live online training sessions our cancellation policy is as follows: training cancelled two or more weeks prior to the scheduled date(s) will result in a 20% chargeback. Training cancelled less than two weeks prior to the scheduled date(s) will result in a 100% chargeback.
