If you are planning to cost and resource-load your schedules then you should start here. I have consulted on quite a few U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects, and believe me, they are one of the most demanding clients when it comes to cost-loaded schedules. P6 102 explains the different types of resources that are available, how to set resource rates, create histograms and S-curves, and track Earned Value. I also have a little secret: there is an easy way to avoid putting the same resource on an activity twice by mistake!
